BIPOC ONLY - Historias de Maíz is a two hour platica where you'll learn about ancestral stories of how corn came to be, according to two of my lineages: Totonaca & Nahuatl from Mexico. I believe that oral tradition is a part of our Indigenous sciences & it becomes obvious in the milpa system. If you eat tortillas, tamales, atole, then you should get to know corn better! You owe it to your ancestros milperos.
